Shelving Brackets

Wooden You Shelving provides the highest quality standard and bracket system on the market, not only in appeal but in price and ease of install as well. What makes the Wooden You Shelving system so easy to install is the solid oak bracket and rails that support the shelves. The wall mounting rails can be applied to your wall without the need of studs — allowing you to place your shelving system virtually anywhere upon your wall. The shelving brackets easily slide into the top of or bottom of the rail and tighten in place with an Allen wrench. There are no set increments upon the rails so your brackets can be locked in place at any height upon the rail, allowing you to adjust the height of your shelf anywhere upon the wall mounting rail. All shelf brackets can be stained in anyone of our ten stain choices – as well as unfinished so you can apply any stain you want yourself — you can also make a custom stain order for your system and only have to pay for the price of the stain. Wooden You Shelving’s brackets come in four different styles: light duty brackets, heavy duty brackets, designer brackets, and closet brackets. The light duty brackets support up to 75 lbs. each and have a fitted slot for shelves. Heavy duty arms provide 125 lbs. of weight support and are typically used for pantries, entertainment centers, and computer desks, heavy duty arms have a fitted shelf slot just as the light duty arms do. Designer arms have a distinct design and have no fitted slots for the shelves — designer arms can support up to 65 lbs. per bracket. Closet series brackets come in two different models: the CAR-12 model supports a clothing rod as well as a 12″ deep shelf for closet organizers. The COR-12 closet bracket provides support for clothing rods only.

Why Custom Shelving is Superior to Store Bought

Custom shelving provides home owners time, money, and allows them to create the exact shelf they need instead of settling for something they found in the shelving isle of their local home improvement store. Taking the approach of store bought shelves maybe a faster purchase – but more than 95% of the time the shelf you choose wont have the edging/design you desire let alone the exact size you need to fulfill your layout or you will have to purchase a larger shelf, cut it to size, and sand the edge you had to cut. Most of the time you will need your shelves to match your interior and you probably have a color in mind for your shelf – but what are the odds of you finding a shelf at the exact size/design/stain you need for your home? Inless you are a wood craftsman and have the tools to sand, stain, cut, and edge your shelf you will be left with one poor option – you will have to re-design your entire layout with only the products available from your local home improvement store. Figuring all of this just for a simple shelf can be quite a head ache but if you purchase custom shelves from a manufacturer your shelves will arrive with the exact edging, stain color, and size — saving you time, money, and allows you to not settle for a pre-made shelf.

Benefits of Custom Made Shelves

  • Shelves cut to exact size you need for your layout
  • Shelves stained your prefered stain color
  • Shelf edging designed to your specifications
  • Saves time, money, and stress

Where to purchase Custom Made Shelves?

Now you know that custom shelves are superior to pre-made shelves – so where is the best place to purchase your custom shelves? Well to put it simply, your already here. Wooden You Shelving specializes in custom made shelves for basic shelving, pantries, closet organizers, home offices, entertainment centers, and well — just about anywhere you need shelves. Wooden You Shelving provides its own wall mounting bracket system for their custom made shelves that are fully compatible with their custom wood shelf line – Airshelves. Wooden You Shelving is an online retailer so all of their shelving must be shipped to their customers – shipping rates can get fairly expensive for solid oak shelves but Wooden You Shelving has provided a solution to the problem with the innovative Airshelf line – these shelves are three times lighter than melamine shelves and support over four times the amount of weight. Airshelves custom edges are also constructed with solid oak whereas melamine boards use a banded edge — Airshelves edging are far stronger and will not chip away over time where melamine shelves will do just that.
